Early 19th iron and brass Nursery Fire Guard. The D-shaped iron frame is infilled with fine wirework including a simple swagged decoration in the top section of the guard. The top rail is trimmed with brass. This antique fire guard is in wonderful condition, with only one very small hole in the brass trim. Circa 1820.
