18th Century Mahogany Cellaret Box W333
An 18th century Georgian mahogany cellaret. The quality and style of this period of furniture making shines through. Beautiful figured mahogany, inlaid with oval marquetry panels, the edges finished with fine black and white stringing, the tapered legs are also inlaid. The flat table top is secured by the original high quality "stop" hinges.
The interior, once compartmentalised, is now felt lined so can be used for any purpose (including wine storage!) The original brass carrying handles makes this attractive antique small piece of furniture very easy to move. Circa 1780
