An exceptional Toilet Mirror from the great mid Georgian period. The serpentine front box base, with 3 drawers, is defined with black and white edging, and sits on shaped ogee feet. A rectangular swing mirror has an unusual fine gessoed and gilt inner edge to the cross-banded frame.
A beautiful piece, made with quality 18th century mahogany, in original condition, including the brass-ware (the escutheon on the central drawer is replaced but is 18th century) and the mirror. Circa 1770
