Small 19th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers V292
A small beautifully proportioned early 19th century Chest of Drawers. In keeping with the period, a pine carcass is veneered with warm mahogany, which is edged and inlaid with fine contrasting lines of boxwood. The top has restrained decoration in the form of crossbanding and inlay. The 3 drawers have their original oval brass handles, and the top drawer is lined with blue paper. This charming little antique chest of drawers stands high on its integral feet, and has a wonderful warm colour and fine waxed surface. Circa 1820
