Early 19th Century Mahogany Pedestal Table V26

A fine mahogany centre table from the early 19th century Regency period. Made of the best quality mahogany, the top has 2 drop leaves and 2 concealed drawers. The carved pedestal base has 4 splayed legs that terminate in original brass acanthus leaf tips with casters, retaining some original gilding. With a superb undisturbed patina/surface that highlights the depth of colours in the top of the table, it would bring elegance to any situation, as a small dining table for 4, or as a centre or side table. Marking to the top is part of the history of this handsome original table. Circa 1820
