Geographia 10 inch terrestrial table globe on an ebonised stand. It turns on a brass half round meridian. The condition is generally good, it has a bright but aged appearance. There is a small triangular tear at the top the equatorial join has suffered a little disturbance but is totally secure small marks have gone brown with age. It dates from the early 20th century, post 1924 when Petrograd became Leningrad , and pre 1930 as Constantinople is still so named.
