Regency Mahogany Work/Occasional Table. U386
An elegant early 19th century small work/occasional table. The rectangular box top is veneered with mahogany. The opening lid is hinged at the back, the top being crossbanded with satinwood and coromandel, and further decorated with ebony line inlay. The front is designed to look like 3 drawers, and retain original lions head brass handles. Slender turned legs, with ebonised rings, also have their original brass castors. Circa 1820.
