Pr 18th Century W. Wynne Ryland Prints. U248

2 prints by William Wynne Ryland, British, 1732-1783, both after paintings by Angelica Kauffmann, framed as a pair. The stipple engravings are printed in sepia and mounted on round frames, set into 18th century deep gilt outer frames. The titles are missing but they are as follows:
1: Dormio Innucuus or Graces Awakening Cupid
2: Etiam Amor Criminbus Plectitur or Even Cupid is not Alien to Crime
There is a water damage mark on the Etiam Amor print, at the top, and spots of colour missing. The other print has some foxing. Circa 1776
Diameter framed: 47cm (18 1/2")
Diameter of prints: 31cm (12 1/4")
