Vintage Leather Covered Table Lamp. U16
An unusual table lamp, the base in the form of a bookcase holding a set of 6 dictionaries in the "Midget" series by Burgess & Bowes, London. It is of wooden construction and finished in fine leather.
The lamp itself is held on a brass stand, and the twin shades, of brass with decorative pierced tops and covered with leather, are adjustable, moving up and down the central pole.
The base is fitted with a drawer and the miniature books have fine tooled leather covers. Both the lamp and the library of books are in superb condition. It probably dates from the 1960's
