Victorian Treen Bottle Holder.

This late 19th century treen bottle holder is turned from boxwood. The domed screw-on lid is impressed with the name of the company that sold it, "Army & Navy Co-operative Society". The density and durability of boxwood can be seen in this piece, it has survived in perfect condition. Circa 1890
