With a classical carved cornice above 2 panelled cupboard doors, flanked by canted/shaped corners, the top is simple but with good detail. The bureau is fitted with drawers and a central little cupboard, and a good writing surface. Below are 4 drawers with brass handles and escutcheons. Circa 1790
