19th Century Steel Nutcracker. S451
This steel nutcracker is simply marvellous to use! The pivoting reversible action allows for the cracking of small and large nuts. The plate head is struck to provide grip surface for holding the nut in place. They are a reminder of the skill of the late Georgians/Victorians in creating objects in which form and function come together perfectly. Circa 1850.
