Georgian Treen Table Tray. T591
An unusual late 18th century deep treen tray/dish in mahogany. It is bateau shaped, rectangular with tapered and curved sides. The ends are elegantly scrolled. Of fine dovetailed construction, it has a flat nailed base. In lovely condition, with a good original surface, this is a fine example of domestic treen. Circa 1780.
