Victorian Brass and Mesh Fire Guard
An interesting small domed and bowed 19th century Fire Guard. The brass frame is strengthened by metal rods. The wire mesh is sturdy and the guard is very stable. The condition is good overall, with 2 small pieces of mesh missing near the handle. The iron hoop halfway down the guard has a break but this does not affect the guard. Circa 1860.
