Pair of 19th Century Brass Chamber Candlesticks

Light up your home this festive season with the twinkle of antique brass. This pretty pair of chamber candlesticks have managed to remain together for nearly 200 years! Excellent metal work is seen in the shaped and beaten rectangular dished bases, the reeded decoration on the shaft, and the petal shaping to the candle cup.
They have lost their conical snuffers and the sliding knobs that aids to eject the candle stub. One of the pair has suffered some denting to the shaft, and have small holes in the 4 corners of the dish from years of cleaning (see photo of upturned dish). However overall condition is good for their age. Circa 1830.
Height 12cm (4 3/4 inches)
Width 18.5cm (7 1/4 inches)
Depth excluding handle 5 3/4 inches)
