Georgian Mahogany Knife Box
An attractive George Ⅲ tapered wall hanging knife/cutlery box. The fine quality mahogany of the front is inlaid with a bold knife and fork in contrasting woods. Above the sloping lid the back board extends upwards in a well cut open fretwork design. Ebony edging to the corners, base and lid gives definition to this pleasing box. Circa 1800.
