12 inch terrestrial globe on stand made by The George F Cram Co. of Indianapolis, USA.
It has good paper gores in fair condition, with an area of water staining (see photograph) and surface scratching/rubbing. It sits in a metal half meridian. The stand is ebonised wood, with a turned pedestal ending in reeded tripod legs and gold paw feet.
The globe can be dated to about 1940 - post 1935 (after Persia became Iran) and pre 1948 when Israel was established.
