19th Century Wooden Bowl
A mid 19th century turned wooden bowl. The interior has 2 inscribed lines as decoration, the lip is chamfered, and the outside has a finger groove. Originally round, it is now slightly oval, as wood shrinks with the grain. American in origin, this piece of treenware has been well looked after and has a nutty colour and good surface. Circa 1870.
