17th Century Oak Joint Stool

A plain but handsome late 17th century Oak Joint Stool. With decorative moulding to the frieze and a single inscribed line to each turned leg, this understated stool has excellent colour and patina. One corner edge of the top has been broken off, fortunately mostly on the underside, please see photograph. It stands high on its original feet.
