19th century Rosewood Letter and Ink Tray.
A fine quality letter and ink desk tray, dating from the first half of the 19th century. Of unusual design, it is made of solid rosewood. From the letter tray below rises shaped sides that holds the upper pen and ink tray. 3 blue glass, brass lidded ink bottles are replacements. The tray has no damage but does show its age and use with ink marks and water stains.
