Antique Mahogany Fold-over Tea Table
Early 19th century Tea Table of good quality. Veneered in choice mahogany, the edges neatened with boxwood stringing, and with further line inlay on the square tapered legs. The corners are attractively shaped and rounded. One leg hinges to hold the fold-over top. A single drawer with a brass knob sits in the front frieze. The condition is very good, just a little wear to the cross-banded edges. The top has excellent colour and surface, the interior is darker as one would expect. This late Georgian Tea Table still exudes a real sense of style.
