Late 19th Century Hat and Coat Stand
Late Victorian Hat and Coat Stand. Displaying the art of the wood turner, it stands on 4 ring turned legs, splayed and fixed to a circular base. From this base rises the pole, turned to simulate bamboo. 3 ornately cast brass arms/hooks are fixed at the top, showing remnants of their original gilding, with 3 smaller hanging knobs
below. The dark reddish/mahogany stained surface is original. The condition throughout is excellent.
