Antique Fire Grate in Iron and Brass
Mid 19th century Fire Grate, simply but handsome. The shaped sides and back are of thick iron, as are the front bars. The front is serpentine shaped. Acorn finials, a classically inspired frieze and legs are made of brass. The condition is exemplary the iron has not been blacked and has a soft brown natural sheen.
