Pair of Wooden Folding Shoe Lasts.

An unusually attractive pair of shoe lasts, made of beechwood.They are fitted with iron hinges to enable folding, and are stamped with the intial P and the numbers 54 and 53 respectively. A motif, a diamond enclosing a leaf, is incised into the wood on the upper toe area. Circa 1900.
