19th Century Low Hoop Back Windsor Armchair W164

Early 19th century Windsor Armchair. Made of country woods, ash, fruitwood, with a generous elm seat. The back has 6 spindles, and a shaped central splat with a wheel fretted motif finished with an integral turned roundel. The central under stretcher has been replaced, the side stretchers are original. The chair has very good proportions and is probably from the Buckinghamshire area. Circa 1820
